Nine
Dragon Pools
Nine-dragons pool On the north of KunYu Mountain
there is a steep cliff. In the middle of the cliff, there
are nine differently sized natural stone ponds. The diameter
of the biggest one is 6 meters, 3 meters deep.
It looks like a dragon is climbing the mountain.
The legend says that there was a dragon who broke the law
in heaven, after which he was banished to this mountain.
The water in the ponds is clear, so you can see the bottom.
The Nine Dragon waterfall is 1000 meters high. A waterfall
of this height is rare in ShanDong. The main scenic spots
include the Nine Dragon waterfall, the Dragon King palace,
Heaven Pond and Immortal Stone.
