Yue Gu Temple was the place for MaGu's meditation. In 1116, emperor Hui Zong gave the title of Immortal XuMiao to MaGu. From then on she was worshipped by the local people. She became the symbol of long life, health, wit and purity. BiXiaYuanJun came here from Tai Mountain and built 72 YueGu palaces and temples with 108 rooms. Some local scenic spots include MaGu Temple, MaGu tomb, SanGuan palace, CaiShen palace, YueLao ancestral temple, Hua spring and BiXia pavillion.
