YanXia Cave is made from the towering rock which was formed naturally. It is the original place of QuanZhen group of Taoism. In 1167, WangChongYang (the founder of QuanZhen group of Taoism) came from XianYang to the east ZhongNan Mountain. He gathered disciples and taught them Taoism in the cave. There were seven disciples including QiuChuJi. They were called “The Seven Immortals on the Sea? Now their stone statues, bronze tablets, imperial edict tablets, well and tombs are protected.
