Chuan (Tai Ji Quan)
Tai Chi Chuan is a kind of Chinese martial art which uses soft strength
to restrain the opponent's strong power. It is also one
of the three excellent internal Chinese kung fu(Xingyi,
Taiji and Bagua).
Learning Tai Chi Chuan is also remarkably beneficial for improving
the learner's health. In Chinese modern society, it is
suitable for everyone, from kids to the elderly. It is
very popular internal kung fu styles in China.

"Taiji" is a technical term from Chinese
traditional philosophy, translating as "origin of
the universe" and "supreme and unique".

A widespread legend has been passed down about Tai Chi Fist.
In the Chinese Ming Dynasty, there was an outstanding
man named Zhang Sanfeng, who excelled in Martial Arts.
He had an unusual quality to him and looked down upon
on fame and wealth. One year, he had a competition with
a man who was extremely strong. Zhang Sanfeng couldn't
defeat him with external force. In order to defeat the
man, Zhang put all his effort into the research of many
Chinese martial arts. Ultimately, Zhang Sanfeng created
the new Fist. In the second competition, he took the new
fist and used a distinctive technique to defeat his opponent;
namely, he shrewdly used the man's own power to defeat
him. This technique immediately impressed people and gradually,
Taiji Quan became famous along with this story.
The main principle of Tai Chi Chuan training is that with the soft
strength, you restrain the opponent's strong power, and
with the skill of this fist, you shrewdly take your adversary's
strength and use it against them. Taiji Fist is therefore
very effective in actual combat.

Rules of practice:
No.1 Keep in mind that the "Qi" circulating
in the arteries and veins mutually adjusts to the steps
and movements of your hands, eyes and body.
No.2 All of your movements and Forms are directed
by your consciousness.
No.3 Integrate adjustments naturally between your
breath and forms, and take everything naturally.
It has been acknowledged that training this fist is very
useful for building body strength, curing illnesses, cultivating
your moral character and prolonging your life.
Nowadays there are 5 sects of famous Taiji Fists, which
are Chenshi Taiji, Sunshi Taiji, Wushi Taiji ,Yangshi
Taiji and Wushi Taiji (different).
